Long long ago, on the top of Mount Kinabalu in Borneo, there lived a dragon. He owned a large and beautiful pearl. Every day he played with it, rolling it back and forth like a ball. People believed he controlled the weather with it.
THE DRAGON OF KINABALU
The Emperor of China came to hear about this pearl.
Emperor: I wish to get possession of that pearl. Let me call my sons Wee Ping and Wee San.
Wee Ping: Father, tell us what we should do ?
Emperor: I heard that on the top of Mount Kinabalu, in Borneo a dragon has a pearl. I would like to have it for myself.
